Kimaya, please tell us about your most valuable accomplishments?

Honestly, I’ve been fortunate enough to work for the biggest ecommerce brands like Snapdeal and Flipkart, down the ramp for numerous names like Joy Alukass, PMJ and Mannipalli Jewelers. I did a lot of photo shoots for fashion houses like Neerus Shashivangpalli. While I can say I won Miss Hyderabad 2018, the beauty pageant was a turning point for me. So I guess I owe nothing.

What are you more burning for? Athletics, modeling, traveling or acting?

That’s a good question. It’s actually hard to choose one. Because they are all part of me. I love sports as much as modeling or acting. They are all their own realms. But when it comes to traveling. This is my soul. My passion for travel has tied me to the travel industry. In fact, I met a lot of great people there, like my dear friend and colleague Rahul Lokare and his great team at Flamingo Productions. He is himself a celebrity and travel photographer. In fact, we have done several travel projects recently in the Maldives, Bali, Dubai, Singapore, Thailand, Colombia, etc. These are some important travel destinations.

Was that a childhood dream or did life just happen for you?

I come from Kota, Rajasthan, and grew up in a conservative Marwadi family. So you can imagine pursuing your passion and convincing your family can be quite a challenge. Fortunately, my family gave me a lot of support. It’s funny because during my school days I was just another girl in a nutshell … But as I grew I realized what I wanted and where I wanted to be. I mean, I have an MBA in Finance and Marketing, but life isn’t about what you learn in the classroom, is it! Here I am today, exploring the world and living my dreams.

The story goes on

What does your upcoming company look like? Is there a big upcoming project you want to let your audience know about?

Many of my followers on Facebook and Instagram have asked me about it again and again, I have a lot of offers from the South Film Industry, in fact I’ll have my debut at the end of next year, it’s a Tamil film, that’s all I can say for the time being, I want to not giving much away, but it will certainly be worth it. Wherever I go, the universe helps me. Be it Mumbai, Hyderabad or another city, I have several modeling and music assignments. Also, I really sweat out in sports to become gymnastics & MMA aces. Thanks to my wonderful trainer, who is also India’s best UFC MMA coach. So if everything fits. I will start with the national championship.

A tricky question, would you be underpaid for the best performance. Or overpaid for a mediocre?

Well, my people know that I give my 100% in everything I do. Be it gymnastics, MMA, Ariel Hoops, acting, traveling, modeling. I pour myself into every single thing. So I expect to be recognized for it. But to choose one. It’s underpaid for the best performance.

Here’s the last one for you: why are you doing what you are doing?

It’s easy. To live my dreams I believe in karma. You see what you give to the universe returns to you with great accuracy and speed. That’s all.
