9 Beautiful Hidden Places in Sydney You Didn’t Know Exist

On my last visit to Sydney, I stayed at the Primus Hotel on Pitt Street, right in the business district and a stone’s throw from the beautiful Queen Victoria Building, Pitt Street Mall for shopping and Darling Harbor water with a drink.

Opened in December 2015, the Primus Hotel is located in the former headquarters of the Sydney Water Board from the 1930s. I liked the large rooms, which all have a beautiful art deco design, iPod docks, and free wifi.

My room, a deluxe suite, had a beautiful king-size bed and a separate room with a sitting area with sofas, LCD TV and large windows. The room also had a large bathroom, so relaxing!

In the evening it was time to have a cocktail in the stylish lobby bar. I also tried the delicious sausage board. If you are interested in a high tea, the Primus Hotel is now offering this too. And when you’re ready for dinner, head to the adjoining restaurant, The Wilmot. Order your meal with an accompanying drink from the extensive selection of local craft beers, as well as imported, vintage and international wines.
