What is a Marketing Funnel

Apr 6

What is a Marketing funnel? And why should every marketer use one?

It is a marketing strategy that is designed to draw new customers to your website. It's a sales process in which a visitor comes to your website to find information that may solve the issue. However, via certain tools, you will be able to establish a relationship with each visitor.

This will allow you to fully understand your visitors' needs. This in turn will push you to offer the best information to all your visitors. Once you gain a visitor's trust, that person will be more confident purchasing items. The visitor then transform into a customer.

Many customers turn into loyal customers over time, and are more likely to purchase every product on your website. The marketing funnel is a compilation of all the steps that are involved in turning visitors to customer who will buy anything you offer.

This is the goal that should be achieved. It is achievable by utilizing a funnel that is well-designed.

Your efforts to market are capturing people's attention, and drawing them to your funnel. After they have completed the form on the PERSONAL lead capture page, they'll be entered into the funnel. I say "personal" because nobody will ever opt-in on your business lead capture page. They want to be a leader and not an organization.

The page for lead capture is the entrance into the funnel - when they click the "Sign Up now" or "Enter Here" button, they are entered into an entirely new idea of network marketing.

The best thing is that they're competent to perform the task. It is their decision. They don't have to buy you as a leader or mentor. You can also show them how they can get more leads and money into their business.

This is how an advertising funnel functions.

You can offer an item for free for the "front-end" to draw and qualifie people interested in your products. You will need to sign up to get the product (also known as opt-in) and then enter your email address and name. Then, they will be added to your email mailing list.

You now have these people on your email and you are able to offer them similar offers that might interest them.

They'll be directed to the page with an offer for a lower price or what is called trip wire deals immediately after signing to receive the offer for free. This is the moment they will be taken to the "back end" of the funnel.

If they buy the low price offer, they will be taken to another related offer at a higher price (normally known as an upsell). If the buyer buys this higher priced offer, they will again be transferred to the next product with a higher cost. This can go on for a long period of time.
