10 things to do with your family this summer

Does that mean that spring seems to come earlier than expected, that summer also starts earlier? Of course, the date of the first day of summer stays the same, but let’s be honest. If we can still enjoy summer temperatures for 2 to 3 weeks, we will absorb them with enthusiasm!

In short, for me, summer is already on my head, in my dressing room, in my glass (red wine has been replaced with a refreshing gin and tonic), and my mind is on family weekend activities. So I’m giving you 10 things to do with your family this summer to get the approval of your toughest critics: your kids! You know the old saying: happy children = happy family! In fact, it’s usually: happy woman = happy life, but you can change the words to mean what you want, right?

Whale watching tours

Just a stone’s throw from Tadoussac is the charming region where the land meets the sea: Charlevoix. The beauty of the mountains of this region is only matched by the beauty of the nearby river, which welcomes beluga whales, minke whales, fin whales, humpback whales and majestic blue whales in its salty waters. AML cruises welcome you aboard their boats to meet these giants of the sea.

Hot air balloon tour

They say you can get a whole new perspective on things from 1000 feet in the air, and any worries you had on the ground seem to be less. Imagine actually floating that high in a hot air balloon? Québec Montgolfière and Montréal Montgolfière invite you to touch the sky on board one of their sumptuous balloons, masterfully piloted by skilled and experienced professionals. Years from now, your children will keep memories of the time when you gave them wings on board a balloon.

Do your kids see Ninja Warriors on TV and dream of a class where they can pretend they’re ninjas too? The inflatable water structure on Pohenegamook beach gives you exactly that kind of experience and lets you use up all your excess energy. With life jackets on site, this activity is fun and safe. Meanwhile, the parents can enjoy a quiet moment by the water.
